Crowns
&
Bridges
Dental crowns and bridges are restorative dental solutions designed to improve the function and appearance of damaged or missing teeth.
A dental crown is a cap placed over a tooth to restore its shape, size, and strength, and enhance its appearance, often recommended for teeth that are weakened or severely decayed.
On the other hand, a dental bridge is used to replace one or more teeth by anchoring to the surrounding healthy teeth. Implants have replaced the use of bridges to restore missing teeth. However, for patients who either do not want or cannot undergo implant surgery, we offer this alternative type of restoration.

Several different materials can be used to create crowns. Dr. Yang will assess your situation and choose which material to create your crown with.
Full zirconia crown: Full zirconia crowns are highly durable and resistant to wear, making them a long-lasting solution for tooth. They provide a natural appearance, closely resembling the look of natural tooth and are also biocompatable, reducing the risk of allergic reactions.
Metal crown: Metal crowns are dental restorations made from durable materials like gold or other metal alloys. Metal crowns are less commonly used due to the posibility of allergic reactions.
Porcelain fuse to metal (PFM) crown: (PFM) crowns are a popular restorative option that combines the strength of metal with the aesthetic appeal porcelain. These crowns are designed to provide a durable solution for damaged or weakened teeth while closely mimick the natural look of your teeth.
